Hi! My name is Grace, and I'm a photojournalist
and portrait artist based in Central Indiana!
This is my former journalism portfolio website, which I'm gradually transitioning to a photography site. You can still see some of my past writing and graphics work because they're important to my journey as an artist and storyteller!
I focus on visual storytelling, whether it's for an event gallery or a photo album. Thanks for visiting, I hope you stick around!
P.S.--If you're curious, "Wise Horse" comes from my Chinese name, 骏睿, which directly translates to "horse wisdom!"

During every portrait session, I ask each model a specific question I like to have fun with: "What song do you want this photo shoot to emulate?"
I've realized that everyone has a personal connection with music at every stage of their lives--and by asking that question, I get a better understanding of my models, and what they're looking for. Whether you're graduating with your best friend, spending summer in your hometown before college, or just got a new hairstyle and want to document it, I'm here for it and I want to make sure you remember it authentically!
photojournalism & events
I began my photography experience through photojournalism with HiLite News at Carmel High School and Wise Horse Photos started as a photojournalism archive account! My favorite things to shoot are community events and performing arts, but I really just love documenting anything and everything!
travel & street photography
I've just come off the most travel-packed season of my life and I've got the photos to prove it! Check in as I work through my summer of 2024 photos from a European June in Austria, Switzerland France, Monaco, and Great Britain to a Taiwan July (yes, it was hot!).
